Our Spring Picnic 5 JUN 2023

At our April 17, 2023 meeting, Kerry Dryer from Lutheran Social Services Faith Mission spoke to us about their Veteran Support programs. Since 2010 they have provided housing for homeless veterans and help them find employment and permanent housing. They currently have 22 beds and are full. They work with the Chillicothe VA and Fairfield County Veterans Service Commission. The Military Veterans of Olivedale presented Kerry with a $500 check for their veteran support.

Our Donation to Lutheran Social Services for Veterans

The Military Veterans Of Olivedale provides support, in the form of monetary and voluntary help, to community veterans groups assisting homeless and otherwise distressed veterans. It also promotes social contact and provides activities among former members of the United States military who are members of the Olivedale Senior Center.
