Honor Flight Donation 7 MAY 2018

The Military Veterans of Olivedale continuously support veterans activities in the community. Here Commander Bob Oiler presents a check in the amount of $500 to Joe Macahdo, a representative of Honor Flight of Columbus. That’s how much it costs to sponsor one veteran. Honor Flight provides our nation’s senior veterans with a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit their war memorials at no cost to them.

The Military Veterans Of Olivedale provides support, in the form of monetary and voluntary help, to community veterans groups assisting homeless and otherwise distressed veterans. It also promotes social contact and provides activities among former members of the United States military who are members of the Olivedale Senior Center.
