Walter Uvis Stambaugh passed away on October 2, 2017 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Walter was born on October 19, 1942 to the late Paul and Arnie Stambaugh in Pickerington, Oh.

Walter is survived by his sisters, Avis M. (Gary) Smith, and Mavis (Robert) Doolittle; nephews, Todd Stambaugh, Edward Stambaugh, and Scott Smith; child by choice, Lisa (Ted) Turner; and grandchildren by choice, Nathan, Brittany, Elizabeth, and Andrew.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; and brothers, Arvis (Mary), Ivis (Judy), and Alvis Stambaugh.

A funeral service was held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME officiated by Pastor Tony Hudson. Burial followed the service at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
