Military Veterans of Olivedale Commander, George Speakman, Jr.,  recently presented a check in the amount of Five-Hundred Dollars to Tom Estes, member of the Finance Committee for the Vietnam Memorial Wall Project.  A replica of the Vietnam War Memorial, in Washington D. C., will be brought to the Chillicothe VA Facility next year and will be on display from September 19th through the 23rd, 2018.  This 80% scale replica is 8 feet high in the center and is 360 feet in length.  The traveling exhibit affords thousands of veterans, who have been unable to see the original Wall in D.C. an opportunity, within their own communities, to see a replica, thereby, allowing a healing process to begin. Everyone should see the impact The Wall has on veterans, loved ones, and younger generations and what it means to honor the more than 58,000 who fell in the Vietnam War.
